It might not be a whole different ballgame, but it’s definitely a whole different ball.

For the first time in 35 years, the NBA’s official game ball has a new design and is made of microfiber composite instead of leather.

Based on preliminary data gathered by two physicists at the University of Texas at Arlington, the bounce of the new basketball is considerably more erratic, and it becomes slick during play.

The last 2 years have been interesting for Kathy Staab. It was June of 2004 when she made a real estate investment by buying the old Jane Pickens Theater in Newport. After buying the building, she felt that it needed to be saved and decided to leave the fashion business and take over full control of the theater.

Things have gotten better here in Spain. I can finally say that I am happy to

be here and I am not as homesick as I was before. I believe that thinking

positive and staying occupied has gotten me through this experience as well

as prayer. One night I prayed for a better day, and ever since then, I have

felt better about my stay in Spain.
