Purchasing the graduation gown may be exciting, but so is the shopping for the dress or suit that goes under it. For some people, shopping for clothing is fun, even addictive. Other people dread it.

By knowing in advance what to look for, shopping for that graduation outfit can be quick and easy, leaving more time to study… or head to the beach.

Barry Bonds is the best baseball player who ever lived, and he’ll be universally recognized as such in, oh, about 50 years. In the meantime, says baseball historian John Thorn, Bonds will have to be content with simply destroying the game’s most hallowed records while waiting for the public recognition to catch up.

On April 27, Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Shop will be giving out free ice cream cones from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. However, there’s a twist: Rock the Vote will be holding a one-day voter registration drive to coincide with the free ice cream.

Last weekend, the Salve Regina community committed itself to fighting cancer. Though turn out for the 3rd Annual Relay for Life was less than expected, those that attended the 24-hour walk-a-thon raised enough money to make a difference for cancer patients and survivors.
