Comedian Rachel Feinstein has a sassy mom she compares to singer Vanilla Ice and a grandmother she pokes fun at. Feinstein also imitates singer Amy Winehouse and the reality TV series “The Kardashians” in various skits, available on Feinstein’s website. On Oct. 27, 2010 Dr. Bradizza, a political science and American government professor at Salve, gave a lecture titled “FDR vs. the founders”. Bradizza spoke about the original plans for government as set forth by the founders and the way Franklin Delanor Roosevelt’s New Deal and the ideas of the progressive era conflicted with these plans.

The setting of Salve Regina’s Wakehurst lounge looked very much like a scene from a horror movie on the evening of Oct. 27. Darkness engulfed the room, eerie music filled the air and many of the people in the room were wearing spooky costumes. However, the lounge still managed to hold a welcoming and soothing aura, with its vast variety of refreshments that includes Halloween-themed cupcakes and a box of Dunkin’ Donuts hot chocolate.
