With the academic school year already well underway, many Iraq and Afghanistan veterans have yet to receive benefits under the new Post 9/11 GI Bill.

Under the previous GI Bill, the Montgomery GI Bill, veterans were paid a reimbursement for student loans.

The Celtics returned to Salve Regina University for their annual training camp. The team worked hard all week, pushing their limits and adjusting to new players.

Eddie House, Celtic’s guard, discussed the level of intensity of this year’s camp. “Everybody’s pushing each other,” House said.

Whether you chose to attend Salve Regina University for its gorgeous location, career-focused degrees, financial aid, personal support, or internship and study abroad programs, you most certainly did not choose Salve Regina for its reputation as a party school.

This fall, Hanson will join Hellogoodbye, Sherwood and Steel Train on the “Use Your Sole” tour. The tour, sponsored by Toms Shoes, will feature a pre-show walk in each show city to raise awareness to global poverty issues.

On past tours, Hanson and fans have walked one mile in each tour city to empathize with children in Africa who are affected by AIDS.
