Antonio Brown Joins Patriots After Feud with Raiders

NFL superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown has just signed a 1-year $15 million deal with the Patriots. After being acquired by Oakland just a few months ago, he had a very public falling out with the league and the team. Disputes ranged from having frostbitten feet to threatening to retire over not being able to wear a helmet to now threatening to punch Raiders GM Mike Maycock in the face. This offseason has been quite the circus for Brown.

Brown requested to be released from the Raiders this morning after his guaranteed money was voided along with being fined thousands of dollars. Despite his tumultuous past, there’s hope he can turn it around with the Patriots and focus on football now that he’s under the wing of Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.
