There will be no need for the National Grid next weekend on the Salve campus. The energy put into SRU Dance’s fall performance is enough to power the whole campus.

SRU Dance, Salve’s largest student-run organization, is busily rehearsing for their fall 2010 performance titled “Power Trip,” after the Kanye West song “Power” which the show’s opening dance is set to.

Who knew Ochre Court mansion, with its red carpets and ornamented ceilings, could be transformed into a modern dance club in just one night.

GrooveBoston mobile club mananged to do exactly this on Friday, Nov. 12. For the second year in a row, Salve Student Activites brought in this company to organize a campus dance.

While most students are busy with their hectic lives including work, homework and clubs, some students are taking time to unwind and knit. Salve Regina’s “Sabbath knitting” group is open to students, faculty and staff. The knitting group meets from 12:15 to 1:15 p.

Well, I know it has been a while. I have a good excuse, though. Since I’ve last written, I have been to Madrid, Montpelier, Barcelona, Sussex, Cardiff, and Chepstow. It has been a crazy few weeks, I assure you.

Well, I must say that as much as I am loving traveling around Europe, traveling to three places in ten days was a challenge.
