On Nov. 20 and Nov. 21, a packed audience watched SRU dance perform their fall performance, “Power Trip,” in Rodgers Recreation Center. The performance was named after the Kanye West song “Power,” which is the show’s opening dance.

There was certainly plenty of power and energy in the performance, made up of 27 dances ranging from hip-hop, Irish step, tap and jazz. Some dancers dressed up as fairies and performed a “Fairy Dance,” while others performed to the Broadway song “Fame.” There were also songs from Lady Gaga, Shakira, Coldplay and Ludacris.

With more than 100 members, SRU dance is the largest club on campus and is entirely student run.
