Coach Ed Habershaw returned to coach the Salve Regina University Women’s Tennis Team for his 16th season this year. Graduating from Bryant College, he has been named Common Wealth Coast Conference Coach of the Year three times. Habershaw previously coached the Salve Men’s Tennis Team for four years.

The Rugby Club will hold the third annual Rent-a-Rugger event this friday.

Rent-a-Rugger is an annuel fundraiser that the Salve Rugby Club holds to pay for their expenses that they encounter over the season. It also helps pay for their tournaments that they play in the spring.

English professor, Dr. Sally Goma, discussed living as a Muslim at the Mercy Center for Spiritual Life on Sept. 30, 2009.

Goma was born in Egypt and raised as a Sunni Muslim. She came to the United States in 1995 for her education. She said that because Egypt was a secular society in her youth, religion was not strictly enforced in her household.
