The Student Athletic Advisory Committee is sponsoring a weeklong schedule of events in recognition of Salve’s student athletes. Division III week is nationally celebrated by division III colleges, but this is the first year Salve will be participating. Events are slated to take place from Sunday, April 2 to Saturday, April 8.
Emma Gruber, co-captain of the women’s tennis team and public relations manager for SAAC, says she is excited to shed light on the hard work of student athletes at the university. “Hopefully this will raise some school spirit,” she says. “That’s why the slogan is ‘Join the Celebration’.”
Gruber says all students are encouraged to wear Salve apparel to show their “Seahawk Pride” and that free t-shirts will be distributed for “white-out games” as well. Below is the full schedule of events for Division III week.
