Classes at Salve Regina University were delayed by two hours Wednesday morning due to snowy weather. Classes began at 10 a.m. unless cancelled by the individual professor.

The following weather reports on Tuesday night’s storm were published online:

According to the meterologists at Turn to 10.com, “The storm which spread snow into southern new england overnight, traveled further south than originally expected. This made room for dry air to remain in place over the region. As snow from the storm moved into this dry air, much of the snow evaporated as it fell.”

A winter weather advisory is still in effect this morning for southern coastal Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The scattered snow showers will diminsh in the afternoon with a total of 3 to 6 inches of snow. Turn to 10.com advises using caution when driving in these conditions.
