The third installment of “Scary Movie” is back with a vengeance. The movie contains spoofs from “The Ring”, “8 Mile”, and “The Signs.”
Why should you see this movie? Because seeing this movie allows you to recognize all the other movies that have taste. Hint: This is not one of them. While at times your sides will hurt from uncontrollable laughter, for the most part the movie is flat and boring. If you have not seen the previous “Scary Movies,” then this movie will be a waste of your money. If you have also not seen the movies being spoofed, the storyline will not make much sense to you. While at times the movie does deal with some touchy subjects, such as the Church abuse scandal, for the most part the spoofs are tame, harmless, and innocent. Overall if you are looking for a movie in which you can forget all your troubles and have a good time with friends, then this movie is for you. It will remind our generation of all the reasons the older generations are scared of teenagers; mostly because we think the antics in this movie are funny. But for all the people who prefer witty banter and an interesting plot they can enjoy, I suggest you find another movie.
